At Middle Township, we care deeply about our families and are committed to supporting our community during this difficult time. We are working closely with local officials to identify additional ways to assist those affected. Our priority is to ensure that families have access to the resources they need.
We want to make you aware of an important food distribution event taking place on Saturday, November 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the County Commons Parking Lot, 3801 Rt 9 S, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.
This event is specifically intended to support families of students from the Middle Township School District who have been affected by the temporary interruption of SNAP benefits. If your household has been impacted, we encourage you to attend.
This initiative is made possible through a partnership with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the Township of Lower, Middle Township, and the Cape May County Commissioners. Families from both Middle Township and Lower Township School Districts are welcome. Please share this message with others who may benefit.
If your family is experiencing difficulty or anticipates needing assistance, please reach out to our Student Support Services team. All schools will reopen on Monday, November 10, and requests will be addressed at that time. We are here to provide guidance and help connect you with available resources.
Thank you for your ongoing trust and partnership. Together, we will continue supporting one another through this period of uncertainty.
Respectfully,
Stephanie DeRose
Middle Township School District, Superintendent
